I love when couples incorporate a place that means something to them for their engagement session. And this Savannah Georgia Engagement Session was one dreams are made of. When I initially asked  Minda and Paul where they envisioned their engagement session, they were up for anything. From the beach, to the mountains, or maybe even somewhere with a downtown vibe? They were ready for an adventure and were looking forward to it.

Shew! I was almost overwhelmed with the possibilities. Being new to North Carolina, there are so many places I want to visit and shoot at with my couples. But when their wedding planner Katie shared with me that Paul had proposed to Minda in front of the iconic water fountain at Forsyth Park, we knew exactly where we had to go. Minda and Paul’s Savannah, Georgia engagement session was a dream come true! I can’t thank these two enough for sharing this beautiful city with me.

It wasn’t until I got to meet these two for the first time in person that I learned that they both have a heart for traveling and seeing the world. The opportunity to learn more about a couple and experience who they are together is just one of many things I enjoy about engagement sessions. While listening to their stories, I found their willingness to travel near and far for their session starting to make even more sense. And I absolutely loved it!

While we started their session at Forsyth Park in historic Savannah, GA, we didn’t end there. After an outfit change and a quick drive, we ended their destination engagement session on the beaches of Tybee Island. We walked the beach until the sun set behind us. It was an incredible way to end the day!

I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite images from their Savannah Georgia engagement session. Okay, maybe a more than a few. I just love these photos so much I could hold myself back. I cannot wait to capture their wedding day next spring in Charlotte, North Carolina! It’s going to be BEAUTIFUL 🙂
