Our sweet friends Jordan and Dylan got ENGAGED this summer! He proposed on the beach during their vacation & they are now excitingly planning a sandy, beach front wedding next summer. I was SO excited when Jordan reached out to me asking for some fall engagement photos with her fiance. I knew the PERFECT place in Louisville that was showing off all of the bright and bold autumn colors. We met for a sunrise session in Cherokee Park it was surprisingly really quiet, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

Fall in Louisville will always hold a special place in my heart. I can only hope that North Carolina will be as beautiful as this when we move the area next year. I love going on hikes, being outside & seeing all of what the world has to offer.

If you have any park or trail recommendations near Fayetteville, NC. Zack and I aren’t afraid to travel and drive a bit to get away from the world for a weekend or so. In Kentucky, we love to drive to Red River Gorge (where we got married!) and hike and camp for the weekend. Sometimes it is in a cabin, but more often than not it’s in a tent. We love parks that are dog friendly so we can bring our two baby bears with us. We are ready to start scoping out the area and finding new places that I’ll love as much as Cherokee Park! – share them with me by leaving a comment here or on Instagram!
